5th Bengal Classical Music  Festival from Nov 24

The ‘5th Bengal Classical Music Festival’ has been scheduled to take place from November 24 to 28 at Army Stadium in Dhaka. This year the festival will be dedicated to noted litterateur Syed Shamsul Haq.
Every day of the festival it will continue from 7:00pm to 5:00am. Like previous years, main performances of classical music and dance will be presented during the festival.
Bengal Foundation in support with Brac Bank Ltd is going to organise the festival which is to be presented by Square Group.
On the other hand, registration for classic music fest is currently open and can be done online as well as by SMS. Like previous years, admission is free for all but registration is a prerequisite.  Anyone can log on to www.bengalfoundation.org and fill up a registration form. Upon filling in the form successfully, an e-Ticket will be generated and sent to the applicant’s email ID. To register via SMS, participants need to type Bengal and send an SMS to 6969. In addition, offline registration booths are available at Bengal Shilpalay in Dhanmondi.
This was announced at a press conference held at a city hotel yesterday where Dr Ahrar Ahmad, Director General of Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation, Zeenat Chowdhury, Managing Director of Bengal Express Ltd, Zara Mahbub, Head of Communication of BRAC Bank Ltd, AbulKhair, Chairman of Bengal Foundation, Anjan Chowdhury, MD and CEO of Square Toiletries Ltd and Maasranga TV, Dr Abdul Momen, Advisor of Bengal Foundation, Luva Nahid Choudhury, Director General of Bengal Foundation, Maj Gen Abdur Rashid (Retd), Security and Strategy Advisor for BCMF 16, among others, were present on the occasion.
