Sarker re-elected chairman of Dhaka Bank

The Board of Directors of Dhaka Bank reelected Abdul Hai Sarker Chairman of the bank in a board meeting held at its head office recently, says a press release.
Sarker is the former President of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), former Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) and former Director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI).
 He is the Founder Trustee of Independent University, Bangladesh, Founder Member of the Board of Trustees of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) and Associate Director of International Cotton Association based in Liverpool, UK.
 Sarker taken his M Com degree from the University of Dhaka in 1970. Later, established a large business conglomerate Purbani Group.
