Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina consoled family members of slain Nazrul Islam when they called on her at Ganabhaban on Monday.


Family members of slain Narayanganj City councillor Nazrul Islam are meeting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban.They were seen entering her official residence just after 8pm on Monday.Seven people, including Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar, were abducted on April 27 from Narayanganj.Their bodies were found floating on the Sitalakhyya River several days later.Chandan's family met the prime minister on Sunday.The prime minister told them her government would do everything to put the perpetrators of the crime on trial.
