BNP wants RAB to stop taking army officers

The BNP has demanded withdrawal of military officers from the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
"There's a conspiracy going on to taint the army's image by using RAB for political purposes," the party's vice-president Sadeque Hossain Khoka told a discussion on Tuesday.
He said that, the army's image has been tarnished due to the allegations against three ex-military officers of being involved in the Narayanganj multiple murders.
"In this situation it's imperative to stop the RAB from inducting military officers immediately.
The army should withdraw its officers from RAB in order to preserve their good image," he said.
