A Chittagong-bound passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch after crashing into a tree on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway at Raipur of Comilla\'s Daudkandi upazila on Monday morning leaving four people dead on the spot.


A bus has veered off course and rammed into a roadside tree killing four people in Comilla's Daudkandi Upazila.
Six people suffered injuries in the accident on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway around 1:30am Monday, said Md Abul Kalam Azad, a Daudkandi highway police officer.
A Chittagong-bound Saudia Paribahan bus went out of control and rammed into a tree killing four people on the spot: Shahabuddin, 35, Abu Hanif, 6, Nurul Hasan Rifat, 29, and Amzad Hossain, 28.
Police rushed the injured passengers to hospital.
