“Try to be philanthropists, not to be despotic,
Give up pride and prejudice, try to be patriotic.
It will be wise to practise what without reason;
And this is no other thing except patriotism.” (Patriotism)
“Sometimes you are a destroyer
“Annihilate like a power-monger
We people are sufferer
Please give up cruelty
Come! with a renowned vigour
Be a preserver.”
(Baishakh! Flush us in ecstacy)
“True love very rare having no presence
“Flirtation reigns in place of its absence.
Love to the living entity
Love to the non living entity
One can earn purity
Its only through loving the suffering humanity.” (Love)
“There is a saying ‘Necessity knows no law’
It seems true to the deeds we do
Everytime morality must we follow.” (Morality)
“Honesty is rewarded here and hereafter
That can sublime a man's character.” (Honesty)
“Be careful to parents at every dealing
come to the right track at your feelings.” (To parents)
“New year!
Come to usher us to an era of peace and reconciliation
We don’t love to live in annihilation.
Come! Mingle us with you
We are eagerly waiting for you.” (New Year! Ushering of newness)
The poet speaks on the basis of human values and ethical norms expecting a world of peace and harmony.
The book has been dedicated to his mother.
He has gratification to all who have encouraged him in writing poems with thanks to Professor Mostaq Ahmed, Maria Maribel Berano Quimbo and Kelley Cass.
