Recently Bangladesh was hit in early March 2020 by Covid 19 Pandemic. It introduced special measures at the airport from February 2020. The Government was an observant. They were looking at what the other countries were doing and how to deal with the virus spread. Finally, the Bangladesh government took the initiative to lock down the whole country in the form of state of emergencies as general vacations for 30 days initially.
The lockdown took place from March 25th, 2020, and it's almost fourth times to be rescheduled and extended until May 30th, 2020. Major exports, imports and trades have stopped. All commercial activities have stopped. The citizens of Bangladesh are without actions and without earning sources.
Most business conglomerates houses lowered the revenues, people in need of help to deal & survive during this pandemic situation. The Government, herself and few private organizations, are trying to extend support. However, it's not enough, because Bangladesh is densely populated. In that case, Bangladesh needs more help from the international level.
The business industries had already lost a considerable sum of money and falling into a deficit in the upcoming fiscal year. The Government of Bangladesh allocated 8 Billion US dollars to the concerned quarters as incentives. Still, the affected mass of the communities are not yet covered and recalling international help from concerned quarters.
Corona Street Asia formed a foundation with the spirit to co-ordinate and arrange Food Relief and Medical assistance. The team supplied the Aid to Covid 19 victims of Bangladesh and initiated its mission from the Northern District of Rangpur, Bangladesh which shall gradually spread district wise and will cover all over Bangladesh to salvage the Covid 19 victims. It is high time, and Corona Street Asia call upon all concerned quarters to stand beside the ordinary people of Bangladesh to help and assist the Covid 19 victims.
