CU ex-Registrar dies

Former Acting Registrar of the University of Chattogram (CU) Professor. Kamrul Huda (51) is no more (Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun).
The professor of the Department of Botany died at the Bangladesh Spine and Orthopedic Hospital in Kalyanpur, Dhaka, on Friday night last.
He is survived by his mother, wife, 1 son, 1 daughter and many relatives and admirers.  Prof. Huda  was seriously injured in a road accident on January 26. Kamrul.
He was later admitted to Chatogram  Medical College Hospital. Later, on the advice of a doctor, his relatives took him to Dhaka. Professor. Kamrul Huda was appointed as the acting registrar of CU  on June 26, 2015.
After serving for almost 2 years and 9 months, he resigned on March 22, 2016 citing personal reasons.
Since then he has been teaching in the Department of Botany. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr  Shirin Akhter    has expressed deep shock   over his death. .She  prayed for the salvation  of the soul of the deceased.
Expressed deep sympathy to his bereaved family. Dr. Kamrul Huda's 1st Namaz-e-Janaza will be held  on Saturday  at 11 am at Jamiatul Falah Jame Mosque, 2nd Janaza after Johar prayers at Chattogram University Campus and  was buried  at  his family graveyard  in Katirhat  after 3rd Janaza Namaz  in Katirhat, Hathazari .
