Doctor couple held with gun, bullets at hsia

A doctor couple was detained along with licensed gun and bullets at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital on Thursday morning.
The couple has scheduled to leave for Jashore at 9am by a flight of US Bangla.
The HSIA source said after searching, a gun, a magazine and five bullets were recovered from their possessions.
They, later, handed over to police.The doctor couple were carrying a licensed gun without any prior announcement, said the Airport Police Station OC BM Forman Ali.
"It is under our investigation," the OC said.
According to the rules, the passengers must have to inform the airport authorities before carrying arms during travel.
