USA to give 70 lakh doses Covid vaccine to BD: Chuck Schumer

Senate Majority Leader and also Democratic politician Chuck Schumer on Friday said USA will give 70 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccines to the Bangladesh.
He said, America will provide 50 crore vaccine to other countries where 70 lakh allocated for Bangladesh.
He disclosed it at New York Jamaica's Bangladesh American Society's view exchange progeamme as a chief guest.
The Senator, elected from New York, said, though there are 70 lakh allocated for Bangladesh, it should seek more vaccines from USA.
He made a remark on Rohingya issue saying that Bangladesh has established an exemplary humanitarian image by receiving about one million Rohingya which made a bright reputation of hospitality in the world.
"USA will always work closely with Bangladesh in the ground of Rohingya repatriation and US aids for Rohingya will continue until solve the problem."
He said, the migrants are god bless to USA. Biden administrations are working for having more migrants from Bangladesh as well as rest part of the world. Not for that the Democratic governments are working on the procedure to legalize 11 million illegal migrants.
Besides, the Senator announced to appoint a Bangladeshi representative at New York College Trusty Board.
