Fahmida Nabi lends her voice for new song

Noted singer Fahmida Nabi has lent her voice for a new song titled ‘Tomar Du’chokh Cheye.’ Lyrics of the song were written by Rajib Bhowmik, tune was composed by Peer Tanim Ahmad and music was composed by Apu Rayhan. Recording of the song has already completed. Fahmida Nabi informed that after making its music video the song will be released on a YouTube channel. While talking about the song Fahmida Nabi said, “There is a flavor of song of the 80s in my new song. I have liked lyrics, tunes and music composition of the song. I hope listeners will enjoy the song.”
Meanwhile, Fahmida Nabi has already performed in Channel i’s ‘The Piano Lounge.’ Her episode was aired on September 9 on Channel i. She informed that after airing the episode, she is getting response from the viewers. Interested viewers can watch her episode on YouTube channel now. On September 10, she also performed at La Meridian in the capital. Few days ago, her new song titled ‘Here Jawar Golpo’ was released. Sabrina Sultana Chowdhury wrote lyrics of the song while Sudipto Shahin composed its music. The song was released on Achinpur YouTube channel.
However, Fahmida Nabi also rendered another song titled ‘Mon’ composed by Jamal Hossain. Now the singer has concentrated to her own YouTube channel, Anmol Project. Last year she passed maximum time in London during corona pandemic. She wrote a song titled ‘Tomay Gaan Shonabo’ there. She said that under her composition till now Syed Abdul Hadi, Shakila Jafar, Samina Chowdhury, Bappa Mazumder, among others rendered songs.
In movie Doordesh,’ ‘Bhaiti Aamar Tumi Kendona’ was Fahmida Nabi rendered her first play-back song. She first got the National Film Award for rendering song in movie ‘Aha!’ In 1978, when she was a student of Class-VIII, Fahmida Nabi first lent her voice for a song for Betar under Khondokar Nurul Alam’s composition. In 1979, she first rendered song on BTV in ‘Chaturongo’ programme.
