In memory of riot that undermined American democracy15 January 2022
The 6th January of 2021 was a crucial day for the United States of America. On this day an organized attack was launched to snatch away the election from Democratic elected President Joseph Biden, who was awaiting the result of the electoral college while recounting of the electoral college was taking place under the supervision of the Vice -President Michael Richard Pence. An attack took place following the speech by defeated President Donald Trump. That scene has never happened in the history of the USA. The crowd that attacked the Capitol was housed of 435 representatives and 100 Senators of the USA following amendment of the constitution in 1790.
In celebrating the unusual event on 6 January of 2022, President elect of USA Joseph Biden is reported to have expressed how dare any one-- anyone-could carry out such an attack on Capitol. President is reported to have said that we saw it though our own eyes. President further is reported to have said we saw it through our own eyes. The lies that drove the anger and madness we saw in this place have not abated.
It seems to be interesting that former Vice-President Dick Cheney under President George Bush along with his daughter Representative Liz Cheney, one of the few Republicans to stand up to former President Donald Trump said that today's Republican Party was not the party he represented. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina acknowledged that 6th January was a dark day in American history. Initiated in my view , by the big lie of lawless President bent on retaining power at any cost while Senator Mark R.Warner has said that many capitol police officers suffered injuries having this insidious attack and some lost their lives in the aftermath. Senator Mark Warner was working in the senate committee to holding those who helped plan or participate.
As a matter of fact 1930 was the dark days because of the economic crisis. During the chaos a Police officer was beaten, another rioter was shot and three others were reported lost their lives during rampage. The scene was unpresented in the history of the United States of America.
