Winter clothes distributed in Rangpur, Moulvibazar

RANGPUR: Warm clothes were distributed among the cold-stricken people in Rangpur at Sumi Community Center in collaboration with the International Center for Economic Policy Research (ICEPR) on Sunday.

Warm clothes were distributed among the cold-stricken people in Rangpur on Sunday . Blankets and jackets were distributed among more than three hundred cold-blooded people at Sumi Community Center in collaboration with the International Center for Economic Policy Research (ICEPR).
Also present on the occasion were Malia Haque Leera, Chairperson of ICEPR Piri Vir Muktijoddha, Finance and Administrative Executive Member GWM Mortaza, Social Worker Hayat Khan Miller, Chairman of Banglar Chokh Alhaj Tanbir Hossain Ashrafi, Advisor of Banglar Chokh. Azizul Islam, General Secretary Omar Farooq, Md. Dulal Mia, Golam Rabbani Ratan and others.
Moulvibazar Correspondent adds: Blankets were distributed among the cold-hit 350 people at Kulaura Shaheed Minar organised by Daily Kaler Kantha's Shuvasangha Kulaura Upazila Unit auspicious by Bashundhara Group on Saturday. At this distribution programme ATM Farhad Chowdhury , UNO Kulaura attended as a Chief Guest and special guest  was Rafiqul Islam Renu, President. Kulaura  Upazila Awami League, Zakaria Zaman, Director of Kalerkantho Shuvoshanggo Centerl Unit, Badruzzaman Sajal and Atikur Rahman Akoi, President and Secretary, Kulaura Business Welfare Association, Aminul Islam, OC (investigation) Md. Mosabbir Ali, Vice President, Moulvibazar District Journalist' Forum, Shamim Al Mamun, Secretary of Shuvoshanggo Centerl Unit, Mahfuz Shakil, Correspondent, Daily Kalerkantho, Takbir Hussain Manna, Secretery of Shuvoshanggo Moulvibazar District Unit, Zahirul islam, Mohi Uddin Ripon, Tanzida Akter Sebin, President, Secretary and Organizaing Secretary Kulaura Shuvoshanggo, Journalist, Sha Sumon, Nazmul Bari Suhel, Farhana Aktar Rimi and Mifta Ahmed were present on the occasion.
The chief guest UNO ATM Farhad Chowdhury. said, winter clothes  were distributed so that no one suffer in severe winter season. Every year we distribute winter clothes among the cold people of the city.
In continuation of this, winter clothes are being distributed among the cold-stricken people this year as well. Farhad Chowdhury further said, that the activities of Suvoshangha, a reader organization of daily Kaler Kantha, are already commendable in our upazila. This organization is contributing to the development of education, culture as well as humanitarian assistance.
