Ctg dist admin takes steps to control consumer goods market

Chattogram Bureau :
The Chittagong Deputy Commissioner has also taken various initiatives to keep the market situation normal and under control during Ramadan.
Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman said the district administration would take over the control of the consumer goods market from Tuesday (March 15). A team comprising members of district administration, chambers, cabs, safe food authorities and relevant market committee will conduct operations in each market.
The 16-member team includes district administration magistrates and market participants. The deputy commissioner said one crore people of the country are being brought under TCB products ahead of Ramadan. Of these, 5 lakh 35 thousand people in Chittagong will get TCB products at affordable prices.
Increasing TCB's product delivery activities will have a positive impact on the market. "We have held meetings with traders to keep market prices normal," he said.
They talked about cooperation. We will continue to monitor the market. No one will be given a chance to make a profit by making the stock market volatile or making more profit by building illegal stocks of goods.
