BRCS provides financial assistance to 400 destitute families in Ctg

Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has provided financial assistance of Tk 4,500 to 400 destitute families in the city.  The Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury was the chief guest at the distributing ceremony held at a community centre in Bahaddarhat in Chattogram on Monday.
The CCC Mayor said that CCC and Chittagong City Red Crescent Society (CCRCSC) stood by the homeless and helpless people during the corona pandemic.  
They distributed safety supplies, food and cash during the long pandemic period. These two organisations are providing assistance to the patients affected by coronavirus.
With the help of BRAC Bangladesh, a 250-bed isolation center has been set up at 12 points for the medical treatment of patients. Initiatives were taken to introduce corona specialised medical services in hospitals along with corona prevention measures by providing awareness miking system, hand sanitizer system and comprehensive masks.
