MA Salam becomes Ctg Zila Parishad Administrator

Chattogram Bureau :
Awami League President MA Salam has taken charge as the Administrator of Chittagong District Council.
He was welcomed on Thursday by officials including Sabbir Iqbal, chief executive officer of the district council. Earlier on Wednesday (April 27), the government appointed him through a notification. The Ministry of Local Government, through a circular, has appointed the former chairman of district councils of 61 districts of the country as administrator. In light of this, former chairman MA Salam has been re-nominated as administrator.
He was presented a wreath at his office  by district council officials, employees, Awami League and its affiliates. In a response, the administrator said he would perform his duties with integrity.
