New UNO Raozan given reception by RPC

The leaders of the newly elected office bearers of Raozan Press Club given a reception to newly assigned Upazila Nirbahi Office (UNO) of Raozan by presenting a crest and bouquet at
latter’s  office chamber yesterday.
Among others, President of RPC Sarwaruddin Ahmed, General Secretary Jainal Abedin, former presidents Jahedul Alam and Tayub Chowdhury, Sr Vice President Nazimuddin, journalist Milan Barua, Joint Secretary Didarul Alam, Asstt Secretary Jahangir, Organising Secretary Rabiul Hossain, Treasurer Bahauddin, AK Babar Anisukr Rahman spoke on the occasion.
It is noted that Md. Abdus Samad Sikder  joined as UNO Raozan on May 31. In brief deliverations of the UNO, he emphasised the preservation  and protection of the Halda River from dusty pollution as it is a national fish resources and the Halda is declared as Bangabandhu Fish Heritage by the government. He also stressed the role of the local journalilsts about the safety of the river.
Later, Abdus Samad Sikder thanked the  visiting journalists for giving reception on his first day of joining in Raozan.
The journalists also assured for every cooperations to the newly assigned UNO in discharging the responsibilities in the Upazila.
