RKS Foundation’s tree plantation prog launched

A tree plantation programme was organised at Bayzid Link Road in the port city with the initiative of Raozan’s Rezaul Karim Sikder (RKS) Foundation, a charitable environmental organisation in Chattogram.
Fruits, herbals and forest saplings were planted on Bayjid Link Road on Saturday afternoon as part of the Foundation’s ongoing programme to plant and distribute 50,000 saplings of different species of trees.
On this occasion a discussion meeting was also held under the chairmanship of Lion Jahedul Karim Bappi Sikder. Prominent writer and columnist Muhammad Masum Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the programme. Lion Abdul Mannan and Lion Nawab Hossain Munna spoke.
Among others present were social activists Kaisar Maleki, Ziaul Haque, Faizul Haque, Borhan Uddin Maleki, Jahedul Islam, Murad, Azam, Saiful, Sohag and others were present on the occasion.
