Rashed-Zhilik renders song with Padma Bridge

In Dhaka’s studios, many singers’ songs on Padma Bridge were recorded in this month. Many singers have rendered songs on the Padma Bridge. As a part of its continuation, Channel i-Sherakontho champion Zhilik has already rendered
a song titled Padma Setu. Mokam Ali Khan wrote lyrics of this song while Milton Khondokar has composed its music. This song will go on air on BTV from June 25 after inauguration of the Padma Bridge.
Zhilik also said that she has also rendered another song on Padma Bridge where Close up 1 famed singer Rashed also lent his voice with her. Shafiqul Islam Bahar wrote lyrics of this duet song while Ujjal Sinha has composed its tunes and music. Title of the song is: Somoy eshe shunechhilo, Shotru jaal bunechhilo, Kara kobe ke je…Padma Setu se je.
While talking about the song, singer Rashed said, “I had earlier performed with Zhilik in live show. For the first time, we rendered an original duet song. Basically this song has been made for Bangladesh Betar. Within short days, this song will be released as a video song on Betar’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. I believe listeners will like lyrics, composition of tunes and musical arrangement of this song.”
Singer Zhilik shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier, I rendered song under composition of respected Milton Khondokar. We, some singers, rendered this song. For Betar, Rashed and I rendered this original duet song on Tuesday. Though I had earlier experience to share the stage with Rashed Bhai in live performances but for the first time I have lent my voice for this original duet track. I have liked lyrics and tunes of this song. Most interesting is that listeners will enjoy the song with Swapner Padma Setu in video format along with audio format on Betar. In fact, I am really delighted to be part of such project.”
Zhilik also said that on June 25, she will perform in a stage show in Kishoreganj, while on June 30, she has scheduled to perform in another stage show at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka.
On the other hand, in Rashed’s voice, his new original song titled Ekla Pothe, which lyrics were written by Sheikh Nazrul and music was composed by Sheob Shibly, has been released under Binod Roy Das’s musical arrangement.
Rashed also informed that his liking another song has also been released recently. Title of the song is: Tumi aj nei bole. Jamal Hossain wrote lyrics of the song while Sabbir Zaman has composed its music. The song has already released on YouTube channel of Rongon Music.
