Rupa Fabrics new owner of Dhaka Stars in BPL Cricket

Rupa Fabrics is now the owner of Dhaka Stars for the ensuing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) asked the tender for seven teams. Progoti Auto Rice Mills signed an agreement with the BCB. But later, the organisation failed to submit  the guaranty money of Taka ten lakh to BCB. Thus, BCB cancelled the ownership of that organisation.
It may be mentioned that Fortune Barishal Sports Limited is the owner of Fortune Barishal, Mind Tree Limited is the owner of Khulna Tigers, Future Sports Limited is the owner of Sylhet Strikers, Bashundhara Group is the owner of Rangpur Riders, Delta Sports Limited is the owner of Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Legends Limited is the owner of Comilla Victorians.
The matches of the BPL Cricket will be held in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet. A total of 46 matches will be held at the different venues of the country.
