Make World Cup a success
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is a Colombian singer. She has refused to take part in the opening ceremony of the 22nd edition of the World Cup Football 2022 beginning in Qatar from 20th instant, saying that she will have no freedom at the time of her performance. By rights what she has understood I do not understand, but she and all those like her may be advised to read the book of Political Science to understand rights.
Rights are not unlimited. One cannot infringe upon the rights of others. Rights are based on the use of intelligence and good behaviour. None has the right to spread hatred and evils in the society.
Human rights are based on religion, justice, customs and traditions. Herbert Spencer said, the state guarantees only the security of rights. It does not create rights. As for example, right to sodomy, showing body while singing, gay marriage and the like are not self-created. The western countries have created those dirty rights.
So, I think that all those who have called for boycott of the World Cup Football citing absence of human rights in Qatar should read the book of Political Science and associate with the Qatar Football Association to make the competition a success.

Selfie culture!
Nowadays, taking selfies on smartphones has become an addiction to many. Selfies are taken on the road, on the bus-train, at school-college, while chatting with friends, going for a walk for fun. And it is also being uploaded through social media. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. are full of these selfies. Almost everyone regardless of sex, colour or age is addicted to taking selfies.
However, many people are taking selfies at the risk of their lives for likes and comments. Not only young people, but also older people are victims of selfie culture! Many were killed while taking selfies at risk. It is important to curb such a terrible hobby.
Life is a precious resource. Family and society are involved in everyone's life. Unexpected death brings misery to the whole family. So, one has to be careful to cut the selfie intoxication. There is no alternative to creating public awareness in the media to curb this. I am drawing the attention of the concerned to take appropriate initiative in this regard.
