Sharmin Keya interested in original songs

Sharmin Keya is a present generation’s singer who has a melodious voice. Though her released number of original songs is few but audience has keen interest to enjoy her performances with the songs and rendering style in the stage shows. Basically this glamorous singer prefers to render songs of Shahnaz Rahmatullah, Runa Laila, Sabina Yasmin, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sunidhi Chauhan in stage shows. On stage, she feels comfortable to render both English and Bengali songs.
According to the singer, her interest to render original songs has increased now. She has concentrated to release her original tracks. On December 25, Keya’s new original track titled 'Shunnyo' is going to release on YouTube channel of Shobdo Karigor. Razu Chowdhury, who is living in USA’s Florida, wrote lyrics of the song, while Amzad Hossain has composed its tune and music. Al Masud has made music video of the song.
Sharmin Keya started her journey in the field music after getting proper training. Her father Shajahan Ali Khan, who has already died, was deputy assistant engineer at Petrobangla. Due to her father’s service, Keya took lessons in music from Gourango Goswami in Savar when she was student of Class-V. Keya’s debut solo original song titled 'Hawa Eshe' was released in 2011. Last July, her duet song with S I Tutul titled 'Ek Borshay' was released on YouTube channel of G-Series. Razu Chowdhury wrote lyrics of the song and Amzad Hossain composed its music. This song has already created hype among the listeners.
While talking about her planning with music and about new song, Sharmin Keya told this correspondent, “After death of my father, Razu Chowdhury Bhai had co-operated me a lot to continue rendering songs. I am really grateful to him. I am hopeful about my upcoming new original track 'Shunnyo.' I believe lyrics and music composition of this song will be liked by the listeners. In the field of music, I want to render only a number of good songs. Therefore, any other dream to me right now. Overall, I want to remain well at all.”
Sharmin Keya’s birthday is on 23 August. She has a daughter named Shoara Sarar Chowdhury. According to the singer, her all dreams revolve with her only daughter. Her three siblings always inspire her to render song. She always misses Anjuman Ara Khan, who was died in 2012, in the field of music, said Sharmin Keya.
