NRBC Bank wins 2 Global Economics Awards

NRBC Bank has won two international Awards `The Global Economics Awards-2022' by The Global Economics Ltd, a UK-based financial publication and a quarterly business magazine. The Bank has been crowned with the title of  'Most Innovative Mobile Banking App (NRBC Planet)' and `Fastest Growing Micro-Finance Bank'. S M Parvez Tamla, Chairman of  NRBC Bank received these prestigious awards at a colorful function organized by the The Global Economics  Limited at Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Thursday while AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Mohammed Nazim, Directors, Golam Awlia, Managing Director & CEO, Didarul Haque Miah, Head of ICTD &  CTO of   of the bank, were  present the awards ceremony, said a press release.
In the event, it was informed that NRBC Bank is one of the trendsetters in the Banking industry of Bangladesh by making the best use of information technology. NRBC Bank launched special micro credit program on March, 2021 for marginalized people of rural areas of Bangladesh. This service has been spread all over Bangladesh in a very short time. More than 50,000 people have already received micro-loans. The 'Fastest Growing Micro Finance Bank-2022' has been awarded in recognition of the rapid expansion of this service.
Besides, NRBC Bank Limited launched its innovative mobile app "NRBC PLANET" to bring comfort and mobility in the banking services in 2019. Through this Mobile app account holders will get numerous banking services such as notifications , fund transfer, credit card bill payment, top-up services, balance inquiry, touch point locator, product information, branch information, EMI/ discount partners easily. For the first time, the NRBC customers can withdraw cash from any Branch or Booth using App QR code facility.
