High-rise building catches fire in capital's Katabon

A fire has broken out on the fifth floor of a nine-storey building at Kataban area in the capital on Monday night. Being informed, some 10 units of Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the spot. They are trying to douse the blaze.
According to the Fire Service sources, the fire broke out at around 7:30pm.
Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service Control Room, confirmed the matter to the media.  She said, "The reasons and extent of damage of the fire could not be known immediately. No casualties have also been reported till the report was filed."
