6 MPs refrained from joining reception function of AL

A reception was accorded to the newly elected MPs by the Chittagong Awami League in 10th Parliamentary election held recently.
Chittagong Bureau :One state minister , four legislators of Chittagong and AL backed MP of Fatikchari constituency did not join the reception function arranged by the Awami League in respect of the newly elected minister and MPs in the 10th parliament election. Awami League , North, South and City units arranged the reception on Friday at Laldighi Maidan in city .City AL president and former Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury presided over the reception function. Core AL leaders and newly elected MPs who did not join the reception function are former Minister Dr.Afsarul Amin MP, MA Latif MP, Shamsul Hoque Chowdhury MP, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdury MP and the AL backed MP of Fatikchari Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari. Besides , newly assigned state minister from Bandarban Bir Bahadur MP also did not join the reception. While contacted these MPs told that they could not join the reception as they are remain busy in organizational work in their areas and other family matters. The ministers and MPs who were present in the reception are - Housing & Works Minister Engr. Mosharraf Hossain(Mirsarai) , Mahfuzur Rahman Mita MP(Sandwip) , Didarul Alam MP (Sitakkunda), Water resources Minister Anisul Islam MahmudMP( Hathazari), Dr. Hasan Mahmud MP(Rangunia) Moinuddin Khan Badal MP(Boalkhali), Ziauddin Ahmed BabluMP(Kotwali).State Minister forLand Admn Saifuzzaman chowdhury MP(Anowara),Nazrul Islam chowdhury MP(Chandanaish),Dr. Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin NadviMP(satkania) , and Mostafizur rahman chowdhury MP(Banskhali) .
