Global community urged to help climate-induced migrants

Speakers at a discussion in Istanbul have urged the global community to come forward to help climate-induced migrants in the climate vulnerable countries like Bangladesh.
They said the climate-induced migrants, the innocent victims of global warming caused by rich countries, deserve equity, capacity and human rights
from the global community. The discussion titled, 'Climate-induced Displacement: Humanitarian and Right Perspective' was held at Lutfi Kirdar Convention Center on Tuesday on the sidelines of the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul, according to a message received here on Wednesday. Fifteen civil society organisations from the global south and north - Act Alliance, Asian Disaster Risk Reduction Network (ADRRN).
