As many as nine members of a gang of easy bike hijackers in the guise of RAB were arrested by the PBI (Police Bureau of Investigation), Bagerhat. The members of the PBI seized a private car, a motor bike, medicines for making one unconscious, fake Blue Books of motor bikes, 2 easy bikes used in hijacking purposes and cash Taka. After the completion of legal proceedings the arrested hijackers were sent to the court on Wednesday afternoon.
Previously the members of the PBI, Bagerhat arrested from Dhaka, Gopalganj, Patuakhali and other districts by the members of PBI, Bagerhat.
Mohammad Abdur Rhman, PBI Police Super, Bagerhat disclosed all the affairs in a press briefing held in the office room of Bagerhat PBI on Wednesday noon.
The arrested hijackers are Md. Abdul Kader, Md. Basir Uddin alias Sagar, Md. Mahiuddin, Dalim, Md. Imran Molla alias Imran, Md. Saiful Islam alias Chan Mia Shikdar, Baschu, Md. Amir Fakir and Rasul Amin. They hail from Gopalganj, Narayanganj and other places of the country.
