Oil prices decline despite falling US rig count

Oil prices declined on Friday despite dropping of the U.S. rig count.
In the week ending Sept. 20, the number of U.S. active oil rigs dropped by 14 to 719, U.S. energy services firm Baker Hughes said in its weekly report on Friday.
The reading was also 147 lower than the 866 of the same period last year.
The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery decreased 0.04 U.S. dollar to settle at 58.09 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, and Brent crude for November delivery erased 0.12 dollar to close at 64.28 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
