Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote

The leaders and workers of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote, a cultural organisation, paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Thursday marking the 42nd founding anniversary of the jote. As part of the programme, they placed wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 in the city, which was followed by a rally which paraded different streets of the city to mark the day. Besides, the members of the jote also paid tributes to the grave of founding president of the jote Alamgir Kumkum in Banani. Apart from it, they also offered special prayers seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the late members of the organisation at its central office in city’s Gulshan area. The function was attended, among others, by President of the jote Sarah Begum Kabori, its General Secretary Arun Sarker Rana, actresses Aruna Biswas and Rokeya Prachy.

BD Pry Assistant Teachers’ Grand Alliance

Leaders of Bangladesh Primary Assistant Teachers’ Grand Alliance demanded 11th grade for the primary assistant teachers immediately. They demanded at a press conference in Sagor-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity in the city’s Segunbagicha on Thursday. The function was addressed, among others, by President of Jatiya Prathomik Sahakari Shikshak Foundation Shahinur Akhter and President of Bangladesh Prathomik Sahakari Shikshak Samaj Shahinur Al Amin and its senior Vice-President Zahirul Islam Zafar.
