Held at Shaheed Smrity Stadium in Rajshahi, forward Mohammad Sheikh Bablu finally broke the deadlock scoring the decisive goal for Police FC in the 62nd minute of the match.
Sheikh Jamal who were the close contender of league leaders Bashundhara Kings in the race of league title, suffered their first defeat in the ongoing league and slipped to third position with their previous credit of 27 points from 14 matches while Bangladesh Police Football Club improved their tally with 19 points playing the equal number of outings.
