RAB 14 and 10 has arrested two accused, including Md Farooq Hossain (42), the main accused in the sensational victim Rafiqul Islam murder case, from Kotwali of Mymensingh and Kamrangirchar area of Dhaka within 72 hours of filing the case. Rafiqul Islam was killed in a land dispute in Konapara Tantipara Mor area under Kotwali police station of Mymensingh.
It is to be noted that the victim Rafiqul Islam had a long family feud with the defendants of Char Bhavanipur Konapara village under Mymensingh’s Kotwali police station and had a dispute over land. As a result of the dispute, the victim Rafiqul Islam (52) was threatened with death and injury.
In view of this, on December 19, 2023, at 8 pm, the accused started arguing and quarreling with the victim in Konapara Tantipara Mor area under Kotwali Police Station, Sirta Union.
