Oli Haoladar, 07, son of Swapan Haoladar of ward-7 under Wazirpur municipal town, died of drowning at the pond near their home on Saturday noon.
Swapan Haoladar, father of the victim, acknowledging the fact said Oli was a student of class two at local BCL Kindergarten and after returning from school at 11:30 he was playing under rain near the home and then became missing.
After searching floating dead body of Oli recovered from the pond near by their home and buried at family graveyard at afternoon, family sources said.
Shishir Kumar Pal, officer in charge of Wazirpur police station said, they heard, but yet not informed about the incident officially.
