Sewing machines have been distributed among helpless and extremely poor families in Ishwardi. The sewing machine was distributed by Sakibur Rahman Sharif Konak, a member of the Central Awami League’s Information and Research Sub-Committee and son of the late former Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif,on Friday afternoon. These sewing machines were distributed among the poor families in Naodapara area of Dashuria Union.
Meanwhile, Kanak Sharif said, “I am distributing sewing machines among the poor on the occasion of Mujib’s year.” My late father, who was inspired by the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, also dreamed of building a country free from hunger and poverty.
