Manikganj-1 (Shibalaya, Ghior, Daulatpur) constituency MP Salauddin Mahmud Zahid attended the first exchange meeting on Wednesday in the event organized at Shibalaya Upazila Parishad Auditorium. UNO Md. Belal Hossain presided. Huge number people of all walks were present at the function. Shibalaya Upazila Chairman Rezaur Rahman Khan, Vice Chairman Runa Akhtar, AC Land Md Anichur Rahman Khan, A-League Leader MA Quddus BA, UP Chairmen Md Mosharraf Hossain, Md Abbas Ali, Md Anisur Rahman, Zahir Uddin Manik, Headteacher Matiar Rahman,among others, spoke. The speakers demanded prevention of river erosion, spread of education, control of drugs and local employment in Daulatpur and Shibalaya upazilas on the banks of Jamuna.
