Book Fair started on Thursday (February 1). The smell of new
books on the
premises of Bangla Academy and Suhrawardy Udyan
are filled with
book-lovers. Every
year the fair
publishes the books
of famous writers as well as the books of young writers. Apart from this, showbiz’s stars also gift their books. In the
continuation of that, the new books of
several stars have
come to the book fair.
Abul Hayat’s ‘Opoman’:
Apart from acting, Ekushey Padak winner noted actor Abul Hayat writes regularly. He is giving away new books at this year’s book fair. The title of the book
is ‘Opoman’. The book will be published by Priyo Bangla
publishers.
Bhabna’s ‘Kajer Meye’:
Actress Ashna Habib Bhabna’s new novel is ‘Kajer Meye’. The cover of the book has already been revealed. Cover of the book was designed by artist Anisuzzaman Sohel. The book will be published by Mizan Publishers.
Putul’s ‘Kalo Golap Brittanto’:
Singer Sajia Sultana Putul is appearing with a new book in this book fair like last few years. The name of her new novel is ‘Kalo Golaper Brittanto’. The book is being published by Ananya Publishers.
Biography of Shafin Ahmed:
Sajjad Hussain has written a book about the life story of band ‘Miles’ famed musician Shafin Ahmed. Thetitle of the book is ‘Pothikar’. The book was published by Bhoot Press at Kolkata Book Fair. The book of ‘Pothikar’ will also be available at my Ekushey Book Fair.
Joy Shahriar’s ‘Sanjeebnama’:
Ajob Prokash has published a book about famous musician Sanjeeb Chowdhury. Compiled and edited by singer Joy Shahriar, the book is titled ‘Sanjeebnama’. Sanjeeb Chowdhury’s colleagues, loved ones and close people have
reminisced about various
aspects of his life. Late Sanjeeb Chowdhury’s daughter Kingbodonti Chowdhury designed cover of the book.
Tanzir Tuhin’s ‘Ahoto Kichhu Golpo’:
Musician Tanzir Tuhin wrote the story book for the first time. The book named ‘Ahoto Kichhu Golpo’ will be published by Kingbodonti Publication. Porag Wahid made the cover of the book.
Farzana Chobi’s ‘Jolchhobi’:
Actress Farzana Chobi will make her debut as a writer at this year’s book fair. Her first novel titled ‘Jolchhobi’ will be published by Mizan Publishers.
Aranya Anwar’s ‘Jol Jotsnai Omaboshya’:
Drama and film director Aranya Anwar’s new novel is ‘Jol Jotsnai Omaboshya’. The book is available from the first day of the book fair.
Shanarei Devi Shanu’s two books:
Actress Shanarei Devi Shanu’s two books are being published in this year’s book fair. A novel titled ‘Advoot Nil Bibhrom’, and another book of poetry titled ‘Aloukik Shobder Grhan’.
Nurul Alam Atique’s ‘Manusher Bagan’:
Director Nurul Alam Atique’s poetry book titled ‘Manusher Bagan’ is being published in this year’s book fair from Soghoti Prokashon. Director Atique made a movie with the same title. The movie is now awaiting release.
