Department of Information and Mass Communication of Kishoreganj district arranged a discussion meeting marking the 52nd Victory Day at the local Youth Development Auditorium on Saturday.
Sadar UNO Tariqul Islam attended as chief guest and Deputy Director (DD) of Youth Development Tahasena Nazneen, Freedom Fighters ex. unit Commonder Md. Asadullah and senior journalist Alam Sarowar Tito as special guests, while Senior District Information Officer Shamsul Haque in the chair.
Senior District Information Officer Shamsul Haque said that, the pledge of the Victory Day is to build a humanitarian and social welfare state through eliminating negative and destructive politics forever from the country.
UNO Tariqul Islam said, mental development is very much needed apart from infrastructure development. We are not poor at all economically though lagging behind many countries. Our moral values and family and social ties are stronger than many others,”
Later, at least 400 hundred vocational trainee students, teachers and Youth Development officials were also present in this programme.
