A woman was killed in a road after being hit by a passenger bus on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway in old Muksudpur area under Muksudpur upazila of the district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Pachi Begum, 70, wife of late Momin Karikor, resident of Kulakuna village in Gobindpur union in Muksudpur upazila of the district.
The accident occurred in the area when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of Imad Paribahan hit the woman.
