Bangladesh Awami Jubo League
Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, Rangpur district unit distributed sarees, lungis and cash as Eid gifts among 500 popor, distressed and needy people of Rangpur city. The Eid gifts were distributed in a function arranged on Thursday in front of the mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangbandhu Sqaure on the DC Mour area in the city. Rangpur District Jubo League former Joint Convener Laxmin Chandra Das presided over the function. Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Central Committee Joint General Secretary Biswas Matiur Rahman and its Organizing Secretary Mohammad Sohail Parvez with local Jubo League leaders distributed the Eid gifts as honorable guests. Rangpur City Jubo League President Sirajum Monir Bashar, former members of District Jubo League Diesel Ahmed, Naushad Ahmed Raju, Zahedul Islam Babu and other leaders were present on the occasion. Laksheen Chandra said the Eid gifts were distributed to distressed people to assist them celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr as per direction of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League President Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil.
