Badhon plays ‘UNO’ role in her new movie ‘Master’

Popular actress Azmeri Haque Badhon has recently completed the shooting of her new movie titled ‘Master’, directed by
Rezwan Shahriar Sumit.
The movie is set in the backdrop of an Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s life where Badhon plays the lead role. She visited several government and sub-district offices, observed officials and collaborated with the director to ensure the best portrayal possible for her role.
Badhon expressed her excitement about the new movie and the powerful story it tells. The male lead of the movie is played by Nasir Uddin Khan, and the actress praised the work of her co-stars, saying everyone has done an excellent job.
Explaining her role in the movie ‘Master’, Badhon said, “Besides, this is the first time that I have acted on a role of a government official. Audiences will love the film. Honestly, after wrapping up, I felt like I’ve done another good job like I did in ‘Khufiya’. Many artists have acted superbly in this film. Everyone has done very well.”
The shooting took place in Tangail’s Madhupur and Dhanbari where Badhon enjoyed the serene and natural environment.
She visited local shops, markets and pineapple gardens, and bought authentic Tangail sarees and silver jewellery. Badhon was particularly impressed with the director, Rezwan Shahriar Sumit, whom she described as an incredibly talented and courteous person who works with calmness and composure.
About director Sumit, Badhon said, “Sumit is an incredibly talented director. He works with such calmness and composure that transpires to all the artists. Besides, he is an incredibly courteous and humble person.”
Badhon has been in Madhupur’s BRAC Learning Centre for several days for shooting. While talking in this regard, the actress told this correspondent, “The environment there is beautiful. So much clean water, fresh food, and everything is green all around. It was a very good experience for a few days.”
The actress also shared her experience of working with a big team, including Zakia Bari Mamo, Fazlur Rahman Babu, and Lutfar Rahman George, among others.
Badhon praised the beauty of Madhupur and Dhanbari and how it has positively impacted her physical and mental well-being. She stated that due to the fresh food and water, her hair and skin have become even more beautiful.
Basically Tangail is renowned for its pineapple gardens. When asked if she visited the any such gardens, Badhon replied, “Yes, I did. As a matter of fact, we have pineapple every day. I traveled around in a rickshaw van during the shooting break. The natural beauty and serenity of these gardens filled my heart.”
Badhon concluded with a sense of nostalgia, saying that she would miss the places and the memories she made there. “I will miss Madhupur and Dhanbari. These places and the memories I made here will stay in my heart for a long time,” she concluded.
The movie ‘Master’ is expected to be another stellar performance by Azmeri Haque Badhon, who is known for her diligent and excellent acting skills.
Her fans are eagerly waiting for the movie’s release and the story it tells.
