Though Bangladesh won the first two T20I matches against Zimbabwe, but Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Najmul Hossain Shanto failed to shine with the willow. Shanto made 21 from 24 deliveries in the first T20I and scored 16 runs from 15 balls in the second T20I.

After Sunday’s match, Najmul said, ” It was tough task for them to bat against Zimbabwe as rain interrupted the matches again and again.”

Shanto said, ” The bowlers bowled well in all the matches. We cannot control the rain. It was not easy for the batters to bat well. We have to adapt every situation. There are lot of positions where we can improve our performance.”
He said, ” Zimbabwe can bat well here. There batters batted well in the mid of the innings. But there bowlers could not bowl up to the mark.”

“Rest of the two matches among three games will be held in day time. So we have to make separate plans for the rest of the games,” he added.
