Qul Khwani of Barrister Mainul Hosein, who was the Printer and Publisher of The New Nation and a former Law, Information and Land Adviser of the Caretaker Government, will be held on Friday (December 15) after Asar prayers at Baridhara Road No-1 Jame Mosque and Islamic Centre.
On the occasion, special prayers will be offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
He had been suffering from various health complications over the last one year and undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital for several days before his death.
Barrister Mainul was buried at Azimpur graveyard in Dhaka on December 10 after his three rounds of Namaz-e-Janaza at Baridhara Jame Mosque at 10:30 am, on the Supreme Court premises after Zohr prayers and at the New Nation office at 3:00 pm respectively.
The deceased left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter, and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
All the relatives, friends and well-wishers have been requested to attend the Qul Khwani.
