Dhaka Abahani edge past Sheikh Jamal in BPL Football

Dhaka Abahani Limited edged past Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited by two goals two one in their match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday.

Reigning champions Bashundhara Kings led the points table securing 28 points from 11 matches.

Dhaka Abahani Limited are breathing on Dhaka Mohammeadan’s neck collecting 22 points from 12 matches.

Dhaka Mohammedan took the second position with 23 points from 11 matches. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited took the fifth position earning 15 points from 12 matches.

Mohammed Abdullah of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited put his team ahead by a spectacular shot in the eighth minute of the play. Abdullah got the ball on his way from a through pass of his teammate Abu Tore.
