The government has promoted Fayaz Alam as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the state owned Rupali Bank.
However, the Finance Ministry recently has promoted nine general managers to DMD from various banks.
Fayaz Alam has successfully served as General Manager of the Rupali Bank prior to getting the promotion.
He joined the Rupali Bank as senior officer in 1988.
He served as manager to various important branches, chief of zonal and head offices in his banking career.
