Government employees can get 6 consecutive days off on the occasion of Eid-ul- Fitr.
If the month of Ramadan is 29 days, then 6 days of leave will be available at the same time where as if the month of Ramadan is 30 days, there will be 5 consecutive days off.
The holy month of Ramadan started Tuesday. After a month of fasting, the biggest religious festival of Muslims will be the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to sources from the Ministry of Public Administration, there is a general holiday on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The day before and after Eid is a public holiday by executive order.
If the month of Ramadan is 30 days, then Eid-ul-Fitr will be on April 11. The government has already made the list of holidays by fixing Eid-ul-Fitr on April 11.
