Purnima fully prepared to return to work

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
The National Film Award
winning actress Purnima is
fully ready to return to her
professional work, she said.
Before Eid, this popular actress suddenly had to go to Sydney, Australia for an urgent work of her husband.
After staying there for about a month, Purnima returned home three days before Eid-ul-Fitr.
Purnima said that she came to the country quickly from Australia to celebrate Eid with her family.
Meanwhile, April 13 was the birthday of Purnima’s only child, Arshia. She moved to Dhaka to spend Eid and her child’s birthday with her family. Meanwhile, the movie ‘Ahare Jibon’ directed by Chhatku Ahmed, starring Purnima, was released on Eid. Popular hero and the Member of the Parliament Ferdous Ahmed acted against Purnima in this movie. Those who have watched the movie are satisfied with the story and performance of the artistes.
But till now Purnima could not make time to go to the cinema hall and enjoy the movie ‘Ahare Jibon’.
Purnima said that at the moment it is very hot all over the country. She will return to her professional work as soon as the heat subsides.
While giving explanation in this regard, Purnima told this correspondent, “Many people think that I am not in the country or maybe I am engaged in acting or other work besides it. But that’s not the point at all. I went to Sydney for an urgent work of my husband. After work there, I wandered around on my own for some time. Then I came to Dhaka before Eid to celebrate the festival with my family.”
“Since acting is my profession, of course if I get a good story I will act. Maybe it’s a good story for a movie, maybe it’s a good story for a platform or a good story for a drama. Overall, I am fully prepared to work on good stories. If the story and other related matters match the bat, then at any moment I can return to work again at full speed. Now that the stage show season has started, I want to make the presentation regular. I don’t want to be away from my professional work world. This place is my absolute favourite, love; I want to work here regularly,” she added.
Purnima also said that one more song work is left for the movie ‘Gangchil’ directed by Noim Imtiaz Neyamul. The song is supposed to be finished soon. Notably, Purnima was awarded the first National Film Award for her performance in the movie ‘Ora Amake Bhalo Hote Dilo Na’ directed by Kazi Hayat.
