Rangpur LGED implements extensive dev works

Rangpur Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) has implemented extensive development activities in the last 15 years. From 2009 to 2023, a total of 1,612 km of roads have been developed in Rangpur district. Out of this upazila road is 532 km, union road is 467 km and rural road is 613 km.
About 5 thousand 203 meters of bridge-culverts have been constructed and developed during the said period. Under LGED, 40 Union Parishad Buildings, 8 Freedom Fighter Complex Buildings, 13 Swiss Rubber Dams, 4 Upazila Complex Buildings and 44 Hat-Bazar infrastructures have been constructed in Rangpur District.
Apart from this, 23 residences and 4 liberation war memorial museums have been constructed for the landless and poor freedom fighters of Rangpur district. On Saturday afternoon, Rangpur LGED executive manager Md. Shahjahan Ali said that the current government of Sheikh Hasina has made great progress in Rangpur and the whole country.
A milestone has been made in the self-social development of the rural people.
He also said that Rangpur district has developed 1 thousand 612 km of roads, upazila roads of 532 km, union roads of 467 km and rural roads of 613 km.
