Singer BD unveils first-ever concept store in Dhaka

Singer Bangladesh Limited unveiled the country’s first-ever full-fledged concept store on Thursday to showcase Singer and Beko’s latest home appliance product line and smart solutions.
Located on the ground floor of a brightly lit building just off Gulshan-1 circle in the capital, the store is ready to provide an immersive experience centred around the lifestyle of the consumers.
Featuring product category-specific experience zones, the store allows consumers to interact with desired products before making a purchase, providing them with intricate details about the product features. Singer officials have noted that this concept store mirrors the Singer concept store in Istanbul, Turkey.
Responding to the question of the journalists, Can Dincer, chief commercial officer of Arcelik Global – the parent company of Singer Bangladesh – said that the concept store will provide a global retail experience to Bangladeshi consumers.
“Consumers will be able to experience their desired products here as there will be righteous information and right people for the responsibilities – which are the principal of our businesses,” he added.
He also said that the customers wouldn’t feel that they are like customers as the relations between the customers and them would be like family and friends, he added.
It is mentionable that a concept Store is a commercial space that offers creative and inspiring proposals. These multi-brand stores, which have been booming in recent years, are places where art, culture and commerce fuse without any established rules.
“The after-sale services will also be available here. We will provide the same experiences to the Bangladeshi customers that we provide the customers of New York and London,” he added.
MHM Fairooz, CEO and MD of Singer Bangladesh, said that the economy of Bangladesh is progressing and the country is set to be a developing nation by 2026.
“The lifestyle of the customers is also changing and so, we bring the concept store to provide the latest consumer experience and best of services with lots of experience zones to experience and explore,” he added.
Under the experience zones, they have the cooking zones, personal care zones, entertainment zones, support and service stations, and style zones inside the concept store, he added.
“Besides Singer, we have also brands like Beko, which is the global brand of our parent company. Moreover, we also have knowledgeable staff to provide information based on what customer wants,” he added.
The Singer officials also said that consumers can explore curated experience stations featuring a diverse range of electronics and home appliances at the Singer-Beko Concept Store. There are places to stop, stay, explore and experience.
As consumer centricity has been the core of the operation, they will provide consumers with an immersive retail experience which allows them more intricate details on the product features.
