All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin said, ” We have to perform well in top level.”
Bangladesh Cricket team have no up to the mark pace bowling based all-rounder for a long time. Pacers Forhad Reza and Ziaur Rahman played wearing the jersey of Bangladesh Cricket team. But they could not shone with the willow and cherry for a long time. After that, Mohammad Saifuddin was included in the Bangladesh Cricket team to fulfill the hope of Bangladesh. He tried to perform well but he was out of Bangladesh Cricket team for injury and off-form.
However, he came out from his position. Specially, he performed really well for Fortune Barishal in the Ispahani Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket, which concluded recently. Fortune Barishal became champions for the first time in the BPL Cricket. Mohammad Saifuddin got his rhythm in BPL Cricket. He got success in the starting of the innings and the death over with the cherry.
After that, some cricket lovers and cricket critics want that Mohammad Saifuddin will get chance to play for Bangladesh Cricket team.
Mohammad Saifuddin spoke to the newsmen at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s of Mirpur on Sunday.
Mohammad Saifuddin said, ” There is no alternative but to perform well as we are athletes. We have to perform well in the top level. I am trying to keep consistency. I cannot play well in every match. I shall try to give my best.”
Mohammad Saifuddin was not included in the Bangladesh T20I and Bangladesh ODI squad for Sri Lanka series.
The all-rounder said, ” I want to play. All want that I shall play for Bangladesh Cricket team for a long time. Members of Bangladesh Cricket squad incuding officials expect well for me.”
Saifuddin said, ” Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed got an almost one-week recess to play for Bangladesh Cricket team after the BPL. May be the Team Management of the BCB did not included me as I did not get a long time hiatus. I hope if I perform well in the upcoming Dhaka Premier League (DPL), I shall get chance to play for Bangladesh Cricket team. Besides, there are many series in the future. So, I don’t feel any hurry.
A good number of cricket fans want that Saifuddin will play for Bangladesh Cricket team in the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
He said that, ” When I aim that I have to return to Bangladesh Cricket team, when I played, I performed worse. So, I shall play with as usual temperament. I shall try to give relief to my nerve and enjoy the match.”
