Day by day her engagement in song
is increasing. Yesmin Labonno is the popular musician of this
generation. In the meantime, the new original song titled ‘Shudhu Tomar e Bhabnay’ released in his voice has received a lot of response from
the audience.
The perfect pronunciation of each word of this song, Labonno’s sweet voice and melodious singing with emotion has basically impressed the audience.
Labonno informed that for this song, she is getting response wherever she goes in recent times. That’s why singer Labonno expressed sincere gratitude to the lyricist Tomal and composer Saikat of this song.
But Yesmin Labonno said that she has already sung two different songs for the government TV channel, Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar.
In a programme of original songs of BTV, Yesmin Labonno sang the song titled ‘Tomar Aamar Ei Ashomo Premer Kobita, Raat er Andhare Hoye Jabe Lin, Shudhu Anubhobe Lekha Thakbe, Prokash Pabe Na Konodin’. The lyrics of this song were written by Nurul Islam Manik and tune was composed by Aminul Islam. Labonno has already completed the recording of the song.
In addition, Labonno sang a song titled ‘Baigar Parer Chhoto Khoka’ for
broadcasting on Bangladesh Betar on the occasion of the birthday of Father
of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 17.
Lyrics of this song were written by Tapan Bagchi, and music was
composed by Devendra Nath Chatterjee.
Labonno also sang another original song in Bangladesh Betar’s ‘Geeti Naksha’ programme. While talking about rendering two songs for BTV and Bangladesh Betar, singer Yesmin Labonno told this correspondent, “I am very happy to
be able to sing two different songs almost at the same time on two official channels. But what I like most is to be able to give voice to the lyric poem
written about our beloved Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his birthday. I give thanks to the authority of Bangladesh Betar
for giving me the opportunity to sing such a song at such a time.”
Yesmin Labonno is quite adept at graceful presentation and dancing.
She completed a five-year certificate course in Nazrul Sangeet from BAFA
and later received training in Nazrul Sangeet for one year with Salahuddin Ahmed. Later, she took training from Ashit Dey.
Yesmin Labonno has been working as a dancer in Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for the past 10 years. In the meantime, she has completed live
song programmes on NTV, Banglavision and Asian TV.
Labonno said that she will perform music in a programme for coming
Eid on Maasranga TV.
