Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Najmul Hossain Shanto said, “Don’t expect too much from T20 World Cup.”
The ICC T20 World Cup will be held in the United States of America (USA) and West Indies from June 1 to June 29. The cricket lovers of the country hope that their team will bring a good result from the World Cup. But Shanto forbids their fans to expect too much from World Cup.
Najmul said, ” We used to see that everybody hopes that their team will cut a brilliant figure in the World Cup. I request all of them never expect too much from their team.”
Hossain said, ” We used to see that before every World Cup the cricket lovers of the country discussed about their expectations. I request them to keep their hope in their mind.”
Shanto said, ” We know what Bangladesh Cricket team want to do in the World Cup. Our players know how far we want to go. All of them want that we shall do something special. I think this is not proper time to think about the result. I think when we shall take part in the World Cup and bring result, it will be the appropriate time to judge about our performance.”
In the last T20 World Cup, Bangladesh Cricket team, led by Shakib Al Hasan won two matches in the final phase. Earlier, Bangladesh got only one win in their World Cup campaign.
Shanto said, ” The players of Bangladesh Cricket team will give their cent percent effort to win the matches of World Cup. When we play, we try to earn our goal. We try to fulfill our expectations.”
